La ira de Dios.

EBWF.NET EXCLUSIVE

The scene opened up before a green traffic sign that read "La Guardia Airport". The camera moved down to focus on a black Rolls Royce Phantom pulling over at the "Domestic flight arrivals" gate. Out walked the tubby, grease haired personal ring announcer of the greatest wrestler who ever lived, Alberto del Rio, Ricardo Rodriguez. Ricardo walked along the crowd, with clear disgust on his pasty white face as he crossed a bunch of travellers. Ricardo made his way towards the gate and held a small cardboard on his hands, apparently he was waiting for someone. The camera over Ricardo's shoulder failed to see the name of whoever he was waiting for. A Slender man with black hair falling all the way down his forehead soon waved at Ricardo, who folded the paper and put it inside the top of his tuxedo. The two men hugged and Ricardo walked the man to the Rolls Royce, opening the trunk to put his bag in it... Ricardo held the door open for the man to enter, the camera man would hop on the seat next to the driver's shooting the action on the back seat... Both men were sitting on the chair as the car took off.

????: Orale, good to see you Ricardo.

Ricardo Rodriguez: Same thing! How have you been?

Despite saying those words, Ricardo didn't seem pleased to see the man.

????: Business has been good man... I am here for the weekend. There's his Pro Wrestling Syndicate event taking place in New Jersey, I'm having a tryout.

Ricardo looked out the window, seemingly uninterested on what the man had to say.

Ricardo Rodriguez: Oh, so you're following the family footsteps?

????: Yeah, I can't wait until I sign with a big wrestling promotion...

Ricardo scoffed, silently enough for the man not to notice despite the camera catching it.

????: So, you think I can strike a deal with the EBWF?

Ricardo Rodriguez: I'm not sure... Apparently you will be paid for appearing on their site...

????: You know I am always glad to help...

The Rolls Royce took a tight turn into the MetLife Arena in New Jersey, the place where Wrestlemania XII was going to take place.

????: A little reconnaissance? What am I exactly going to be doing?

Ricardo didn't reply... He would just wait for the engine to be turned off before opening the door and heading into the arena, the other man promptly followed Ricardo, with the camera behind them.

Ricardo Rodriguez: There's just a couple of details we have to go over... You know, we need you to play your part perfectly for this to be a success...

????: You know I'll bring my A-game at WrestleMania... Ricardo, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you...

Ricardo shook his head as they walked along the backstage area, which was empty for the time being. He stopped by the Boiler room door and turned it open, hoping Kane wouldn't spring out of it and attack them both... He then motioned for the man to come inside... Ricardo smiled and entered behind him, leaving the camera out as he swung the door closed behind them. Before the door was shut, the paper he used at the airport fell off his pocket and into the ground. The words scribbled upon it were shot by the camera as the scene slowly faded to black.

SEÑOR: GUILLERMO DEL RIO.

SIRIUS RADIO EXCLUSIVE. Announcer: Sirius XM proudly presents ESPN Deportes.

SportsCenter en Español! Tonight in Sportscenter we have the biggest Latin American Wrestling Star Alberto del Rio, going one on one with ESPN deportes en español head interviewer Héctor Cruz! We really hope you enjoy it! The Sportscenter classic chime was heard, followed by Héctor Cruz.

Bienvenido Alberto!

(Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a new edition of Sportscenter en español. Today we have Alberto del Rio, who is in New Jersey for the weekend with EBWF to present Wrestlemania XII! He will be telling us a little bit about the year he has been working with the Ikeda's wrestling promotion. Welcome Alberto!)

Alberto del Rio: Gracias Héctor! Muy contento de estar aquí.

(Thank's Héctor! I'm very happy to be here.)

(Alberto, tell us a little about your experience in EBWF. For those who don't know, Alberto has competed in México, Japan and United States, in the two biggest wrestling promotions: EBWF and WWE.)

(EBWF Has been my best experience in american wrestling by far. As you well said Héctor, I competed for quite a few years in Mexico, then Japan and finally I ended up here in WWE where I was WWE champion.)

(Why did you leave WWE?)

(When I was contacted by WWE I didn't hesitate for a second. Every wrestler's dream is to come to the United States, which is like the Hollywood of Wrestling. I arrived to the WWE and took a couple of months settling down... Then I became a star there, but my expectations weren't met. Let's just say I am accustomed to having a lot more liberty over the characters I play and quite honestly I felt my character was stuck in WWE.)

(What was the hardest part about settling down here?)

(You know? Grappling was the thing that costed me the most. In Mexico every hold is done on the right, I mean: Grapples are always focused on the right limbs or the right side of the torso. In the US. Grapples are done on the left limbs and if you're doing a neck hold, your body has to be positioned to the left.)

(You debuted in EBWF about a year ago at the Rumble. From then on we've seen the character of Alberto del Rio changing a little bit... Tell us a little about that change).

(Yes, I debuted in EBWF playing the same character I played in WWE, a high class mexican man whose destiny was to conquer american wrestling. Then I hard those matches with Kane which ended up with he stealing my soul. We then sat with Stephanie McMahon to think "What would Alberto del Rio do without his Mexican aristocrat background?" We thought of Dos Caras Jr., the character I played in Mexico to honor my father, but he was a face and I currently play a heel... We didn't pull the cord on the idea. In the end we decided to use the MMA background I had as a gimmick. Sadly, that didn't come out as I expected.)

Héctor Cruz: Por qué lo dices?

(Why do you say that?)

(I think there were a lot of reasons. The return of Brock Lesnar to WWE with the same MMA fighter gimmick. During those months we had a lot of issues and ended up taking a different direction. I wanted to hone my Dos Caras Jr. character because I never had the chance to give him a proper send off, I told Kane about it and he loved the idea.)

(What was like to work with Kane?)

(I think Kane has been my biggest help since I came to EBWF. He helped me break the mold I came with from WWE for a while, he taught me a lot of stuff too! When things started not going right, he put a lot of work on giving our feud continuity, that was how the match between Kane and Dos Caras Jr. and Summerslam came to be.)

(After overcoming that minor speed bump, Alberto del Rio is at his highest point ever since he appeared in EBWF. What's next for Alberto del Rio?)

(Now as PTG champion the idea is to have lots of matches and establish myself as an EBWF top guy. Who doesn't want to be World Champion? That is the obvious next step... But I'm aware there are people making line in front of me for a shot at greatness, people like: Orton, Kendrick, John Cena and even the current champion: CM Punk... Competition is tough but the main goal is to reach the main event.)

(What makes it easier for Alberto del Rio to be considered World Championship material?)

(Alberto del Rio is not only talented, quick and charismatic... Alberto knows how to tell a story on each of his matches... He is very expressive in the ring and isn't afraid of trying new things to entertain: The "Soul Vs. Soul match". He knows how to work a crowd... Those are qualities every champion needs.)

(Alright Alberto, let's get down to business. Wrestlemania. This weekend you will have a match against Seth Rollins for your championship... Tell us: What do you guys have planned for the match?)

(Let me tell you something Héctor, It won't be an easy match... Alberto del Rio and Seth Rollins have never crossed their paths in or out of the ring. It is complicated to give a quality match without a lot of background or build up. Let's say Rollins has mentioned Alberto a couple of times on his promos, but that was it. Punk and Ambrose, on the other hand have had several minutes on TV to prepare the fans for what they'll be presenting at WrestleMania. Now, not having TV time does not necessarily mean the match is not going to have the quality that an event like WrestleMania demands. We have to work from the ground up, but I am sure a guy like Colby is used to that! He worked for years in the independent wrestling scene as Tyler Black... Now, in the Indy leagues there's not a lot of chances to have TV time. However, that didn't prevent Colby from being a prime competitor and a great professional. I'm sure we'll be fine, both of us want to steal the show, we both want fans to feel that coming to WrestleMania was worth every dime!)

Algo diferente?

(Alberto, Wrestlemania is like Christmas for Wrestlers, superstars always look for new ways of entertaining their fans... Do you have anything special planned for WrestleMania? Something different?)

(I am glad you mentioned that Héctor... We do have a couple of surprises in store for the fans. We gathered this morning with the board of directors to talk about the entrances we'll have for our matches. They asked us what type of entrance we would like to have... We'll see if they liked my idea... The second surprise will remain a surprise until that night.)

(Alberto, thank you very much for being with us in this edition of Sportscenter... We really hope you have a great WrestleMania match, is there anything else you'd like to add before we go?).

(Hector, I want to remind the wrestling fans in the New Jersey area that EBWF is in town at the Meflife Stadium, presenting the twelfth edition of Wrestlemania, and it is going to be great!)

(Ladies and Gentlemen that's all for this edition of SportsCenter en Español, thanks for tuning in).

EBWF.net Exclusive PART II.
Actions speak louder than words, said someone. Those words couldn't be wiser come Wrestlemania XII. Alberto del Rio was going into his second title defense against Seth Rollins. As impressive as Rollins' skyrocketing through the EBWF ranks in mere months could be, he was still not in the same league of God made man, Alberto del Rio. This match was the perfect opportunity to send a message to the mortals in EBWF who thought they stood a chance against him, the thought was laughable, to say the least. Seth Rollins probably thought he'd walk out of the MetLife Stadium with his Path To Glory Championship. He would have to think twice.

Seth Rollins has definitely caused an impact ever since he broke into EBWF's wrestling Scene in late 2011. Rollins made a name for himself ever since he walked through the door, taking out Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler and putting them on the sidelines... Rollins was a man of a few words, his actions spoke for him. He had probably already thought of a weak point to get inside Del Rio's head.

What he didn't count on was that as a God walking among puny humans, Alberto del Rio could not be challenged, tempted, or even broken. Alberto was going to make sure after their encounter, Mr. Rollins learnt the lesson. So far no one had opposed to Seth's aggressive ways... But that was for Alberto del Rio to change.

The scene opened up amidst darkness... A couple of steps over a small puddle were heard... Heavy breathing, panting echoed inside the silent room. Leaking pipes all over the ceiling and on the walls, droplets falling on the floor echoed in the silence of Kane's favorite room ever.
A beam of golden light lit up the room to display the pompous smirk of Alberto del Rio. The Aztec God wore golden shoulder paths, a golden helmet with a huge emerald crusted over the forehead area, golden arm bands and bracelets.

Alberto del Rio: My name is Alberto del Rio...

The trademark grin that usually followed his statement would have to wait, as he continued speaking.

Alberto del Rio: And I am very proud to welcome you to the biggest WrestleMania ever... How do I know it is the biggest? Simple, because Alberto del Rio will be able to display his infinite talent before you... Underserving nitwits... Simplones... Papanatas... Humanos.

Alberto smirked, as if reminding EBWF fans were inferior to him brought him joy.

Alberto del Rio: Tonight I am on a mission to prevent the Path To Glory Championship from being up for grabs by under average, uncharismatic, mediocre excuses for a wrestler who continue lining up to take on me... Who attempt to take away what I have rightfully earned... Ricardo!

Alberto called for his personal announcer and lackey, who rushed to him with the PTG title on his hands. The title's black strap was replaced by a golden one. The personal announcer slowly placed the title over his owner's left shoulder, giving it a soft pat and a shine with the sleeve of his tuxedo jacket.

Alberto del Rio: I don't need a Path To Glory Championship belt, for I AM the Path To Glory! Ted DiBiase spent over a year holding this championship belt, yet he's still the same pinche pendejo! Unlike him, I don't depend on a golden belt to be relevant... Por el Contrario (Instead)!!!!! This title needs ME to remain alive... And I will keep it alive... Until I see fit.

Alberto smirked confidently, taking a quick peek at the prized title draped over his shoulder.

Alberto del Rio: Yes, the downside of being a champion is the fact that I have to put up with whatever mediocre contender they can come up with on a monthly basis. But this month, I actually like the opponent I was given... El señor Seth Rollins.

Alberto looked straight into the camera.

Alberto del Rio: Seth Rollins, a man who has showed he will stop at nothing until he get what he wants... A man whose violent, borderline antisocial behavior has given him success, this shot at me in the grandaddy of them all included... Seth Rollins thrives on playing mind games, extreme mind games to get under his opponent's skin... He is here on a mission. His crusade is in favor of justice... I just wonder who have a simple mortal the power to wield the sword of justice?

Alberto shook his head.

Alberto del Rio: Would he even dare to play little pranks on me? Would he even try to take the son of the sun, push him to his limit? That wouldn't be a wise thing to do... So. How does Rollins get inside his opponent's heads? By brutally attacking the fans of their opponents, by using violence to remind them that and the end of the day their spirits are made to be broken by him and his iron clad crusade for justice... I guess this is where the fun and games end for Seth Rollins.

Alberto smirked yet again.

Alberto del Rio: Let's see... What fans is he going to attack? EBWF overweight, air headed, stupid fans would never cheer for someone like me, queue on lines for hours just to get a picture taken and an insult their way... And if fans like those existed Mr. Rollins, by kicking their asses you would be doing me a favor. Fans wouldn't buy ringside seats just to cheer for me even if they SHOULD. Fans wouldn't want me to do stupid "Make a Wish" appearances... Unless their wish is to polish my wrestling boots spotless or to do my laundry.

Alberto winked into the camera lens, hoping that'd cause some heat.

Alberto del Rio: Oh, you're going to stalk my personal assistant and my personal ring announcer? You're going to beat them senseless? You're going to attempt to break me by doing such things hm? Well let me tell you something, the fact you dye your hair barbie yellow blond doesn't exactly give you the right to hit a woman... And second, Commentators and Assistants are a dime a dozen... So, what's left for you to threaten me with? Let's see... Fans... Friends...

Alberto brought his hand towards his ear, leaning into the camera.

Alberto del Rio: What was that? Family? Oh yeah... Family! I'm pretty sure my papá and tio (father and uncle) and any member of the ROYAL Wrestling family I come from would be able to take care of you without much of an effort... But just in case... I thought I should take all the precautions needed for you to think twice before going to any member of my family... Ricardo... Orale!

Alberto folded his arms and backed away from the camera. From the shadows emerged Ricardo Rodriguez and Guillermo del Rio, Alberto's brother. Alberto stood behind them.

Alberto del Rio: Ricardo, please introduce him properly...

Ricardo clapped and Guillermo smiled, running a hand through his hair.

Guillermo del Rio: You see, my big bro there was right... Seth Rollins! You don't mess with no wrestling family! You don't mess with no wrestling royalty because if you do, we won't rest untill we have your head! You think you are a hotshot because you're in this match let me tell you that me and my wrestling familia couldn't feel more sorry for you! For you are being fed, live, to the one and only...

Guillermo turned around towards his brother only to be welcomed with a steel pipe shot across the head... Del Rio pummeled on his younger brother until he was senseless... Guillermo was no longer defending himself and just laid on his back, completely knocked out... Del Rio dropped de pipe causing it to clank and echo around the boiler room. He ran both hands around his back as he knelt over his brother's unconcious body, breathing heavily.

Alberto del Rio: I am not here to protect anyone... I know Guillermo will be a liability if I allow him to roam along... So I figured, who better to save him from an encounter with you than his caring older brother?

Alberto stood up brushed a hand along his black hair.

Alberto del Rio: Seth Rollins, don't you forget you are going up against a man who once lost his soul... A man who went through the veil of fire and back! Seth, you don't know the horror and the emptiness these eyes have seen... So when you want to act like a total sociopath, I just look at your venice beach bleached hair and chuckle... You are a joke. You're not a vigilante. You are not a rebel. You are not a baddass... You are not real. Tonight you meet your match, Seth. After tonight you'd probably think twice before playing judge... After all, what's a judge without strength or the ability to impart justice? Nothing but a delulde fool... (The time has come for you to feel the wrath of God! See you in the ring, you filthy dog).

Alberto smirked into the camera, heading out of the boiler room. The camera watched him by the doorway to the boiler room.

Alberto del Rio: Ricardo! Lock the door from the inside... Guillermo will stay here until my match is over.

Ricardo Rodriguez: Si señor.

Both men left the room, the camera panned closely to Guillermo's face, watching a small scarlet line of blood seeping down his forehead... The scene slowly faded to black.
